This Privacy Statement (“Statement”) describes the personal information and Content described in the Terms of Service that we collect through our Website and Mobile Application (the “Site”), and how we collect and use it. The terms “we”, “us”, and “Bidparent” refer to Bidparent and


Account information. We ask for and store information about you when you create an account on the Site, such as, but not limited to, your username, email address, date of birth, location, favorite charities, phone number, and User and Client point system. We use your email address and phone number to create your account name and to keep you engaged in the Site. We use your location to provide a personalized experience. We also use your email address and phone number to verify you as a real person, account verification, to validate any awarded points or rewards, or possible award information is going to a real person. We may also use your email address and phone number through the Bidparent application, for other features and notifications of improvements by businesses, or to contact you on behalf of other Users or businesses if they wish to send you messages, thank you notifications, or other marketing messages. Communication, Messaging or Chat through the Service will be sent by Bidparent on behalf of the entity or person communicating to you, and not disclose your personally identifiable information not already listed publicly on the site such as your name, email, or phone number. We may use your email address, phone number, signup location, birth date, gender, and points system score in order to display relevant advertising, or contact you with direct marketing information and requests to you by Bidparent or third party marketers, but will not share personally identifiable information to these third party marketers unless you disclose it yourself. Your date of birth will also be used to verify you are of required age for the Site as well as validate your age for certain adult only marketing campaigns.

Public content. You can contribute to the Site in a number of different ways, including, but not limited to, uploading and editing photos or videos, chat, messaging, or other notifications, and filling out your public profile. We may store these contributions (your “Public Content”), display them to other users, and use them for promotional purposes. Note that if you include personally identifiable information in your Public Content, it can be used, viewed, and edited by others. We are not responsible for the information you choose to include in your Public Content.

Messaging and Chat. The Site allows you to exchange Chat messages with other users, businesses, or listings using a chat messaging feature or email. We store all Content contained in these Chat messages in order to allow you to manage them, as well as to extract any and all Content from each and every Chat message for later usage, and provide them to other third parties and Clients for research and marketing purposes in an effort to provide all Users with better quality products and services.

Inviting friends. You may be able to invite your friends to join the Site by providing their contact information, or by entering your log-in credentials to import your address book, or the like, from other sites. We may store and use your friends’ contact information to invite them to join and connect with you on the Site. Your friends will always have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving further emails from us. We will not disclose any publicly identifiable information about your friends.

Third party services. We may allow you to access third party services, such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, or your mobile device, to share your selected Public Content with those services, and import information about who you are connected with on those other services so you can connect with them on the Site.

Activity and log data. We automatically store information related to your use of the Site, such as, but not limited to, the pages you view on the Site, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, audio and voice recordings or searches, and the date and time of your visit. We use this type of information to administer the Site and provide the highest possible level of service to you. We also use this information in the aggregate to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the Site.

Cookies. We send cookies to your computer in order to uniquely identify your browser and improve the quality of our service. “Cookies” refer to small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing the Site. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). Persistent cookies can be removed by following your browser help file directions. If you choose to disable cookies, some areas of the Site may not work properly or at all. Our cookies are linked to your information, such as your name, location, email address, phone number, and password. We enable some of our business partners and third parties to use cookies in conjunction with your use of the Site. We have no access to or control over the use of these cookies. These cookies collect information about your use of the Site, such as where you came from, which pages you visited within the Site, and possibly other sites you visit if those sites cooperate with the same third party. We will NOT disclose your name, email address, phone number or contact information or any other personally identifiable information that by itself would allow the third party to identify or contact you. Keep in mind any personally identifiable information you disclose while using the Service such as your name, email, location, or phone number may be stored by these said third parties while using the Service.

Feedback. You should feel free to give us feedback, register a complaint, or ask questions about the Site. We may store your communications, including any personal information you include in them, so that we can effectively respond to you. We will also contact you if third party marketers are interested in obtaining more information directly from you, in addition to publicly on the Site, based on feedback you provided to them, or to the Site. We will not disclose this personal information unless you already have disclosed it, or give us permission in writing via chat or messaging service approval buttons to disclose it, or via other forms or emails giving us permission.

Administration. We may use the information described above for routine administrative purposes, such as investigating abuses on the Site, responding to user inquiries and enforcing and applying our Terms of Service and Statement.

Data storage. We may store and retain all data, including but not limited to your Content on the Site for an indefinite period of time.


Public Content. If you post content for public view on the Site, we may distribute such Public Content to a wider audience by sharing it (or portions of it) with third parties so that they can publish it on their own websites and media platforms. We may ask them, but not require them, to credit you as the source of these contributions by including your account name and profile photo, but you agree that we are not required to do so.

Third party service providers. We may use third parties to provide technical and customer support, perform tracking and reporting functions, conduct quality assurance testing, and provide other services in connection with the Site. We may share information about you with them so that they can perform the services they are required to perform, but they are not permitted to use your personal information other than to provide the services requested by you.

Third party advertising. Third parties and Client Accounts, as defined in the Terms of Service, may serve some of the ads on the Site. We only provide them with demographic data you provide when you sign up for the Site, and your email address, which is already publicly displayed on the Site. They may have access to information that they obtain through cookies or that you share with them yourself or through other Third Party Service Providers such as Facebook or Twitter. Note that we do not rent, share, sell or trade your cell phone number or other personally identifiable information, other than the information you provide when you sign up for the Site such as your email address and demographic data, for direct marketing purposes without consulting with you first. If a marketer wishes to offer you a good or service or invitation to an exclusive event, or a reward of some kind, or contact you directly for any other reason, we will contact you on their behalf asking your permission to disclose your mobile device to them to contact you.

Aggregate information. We may share non-personal information in the aggregate to third parties relating to user behavior in connection with actual or prospective business relationship with those third parties, such as advertisers and content distributors. For example, we may disclose the number of users that have provided certain feedback or suggestions, or clicked on links relating to any source. We may remove personally identifying components from your personal information, non-identifying information and log data, and then share that information, in a form no longer associable with you, with third parties for industry analysis and demographic profiling.

Business transfers. We may share your information with our entire company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control that we may have now or in the future, in which case we will require them to honor this Statement. If another company acquires our company or all or substantially all of our assets, that company will possess your information, and will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Statement.

Investigations. We reserve the right to investigate abuses on the Site, and enforce and apply our Terms of Service and Statement. We may disclose information about you to third parties if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) take action regarding suspected illegal activities; (b) enforce or apply our Terms of Service and Statement; (c) comply with legal process and law enforcement instructions and orders, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on us; or (d) protect our rights, reputation, and property, or that of our users, affiliates, or the public.


We provide a number of tools to manage the use of your information on the Site. You may receive weekly newsletter communications from us. However, despite any requests to close your account or your indicated email preferences, we may still need to contact you as required by law or on legal matters, for example to inform you of any updates to our Terms of Service or this Statement.


The Site may contain links to third party websites with which we have no affiliation. Except as set forth herein, we do not share your personal information with those third parties, and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We suggest you read the privacy policies on all such third party websites.


The Site is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us here or by sending an email to If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we may take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account. There may be certain aspects to the site that are applicable only to an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect information from members under legal age in their particular geographies for those particular topics. By participating in those topics, you are agreeing that you are of legal age in your geography or that the topic requires.


We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

However, if we do not notify you, it is the responsibility of the user to check the privacy statement from time to time for changes.
